Calling Humanity

I keep repeating myself in these blog posts, but the more I think about things, the more I think I’m right. I talk to friends and relatives about my ideas, and I have yet to hear anyone tell me that I’m off my rocker or that my ideal cannot be realized.

I’ve been terribly concerned with current events, and I cannot for the life of me understand why we humans behave the way we do. I can’t understand why we continuously find reasons to hate and create separation and fear. What the fuck is wrong with us? Why must we form mobs and impose our agendas on everyone else? Why is it that we have to create death and destruction by engaging in war? Why do people engage in criminal activities? Why are we always looking to get something for nothing? Have we failed to mature as a species in our evolution? How have we not learned to be part of the ecosystem and engage in harmonious co-creation together for freedom for all? Why have we not learned to express compassion and empathy and to be natural instead of “NORMAL?” Why is it that there is a minority of people who believe they are better, more powerful, and have influence over others? Why is it that when their perceived authority is threatened, they’ll kill those who threaten them? How is it that these immoral people are allowed to continue to be immoral? How is it that someone like the prime minister of Canada can impose martial law on a peaceful, lawful demonstration against the government’s behaviour and punish supporters for the sake of saving face? How have we placed dominance and avarice ahead of humanity? WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?

There was a time when humans lived in harmony with the environment, Mother Earth and Nature. We blended in. We were only stressed when something or someone threatened our lives. Homeostasis wasn’t something we had to work at.  We peacefully went about our lives free from anxiety and fear until such a time as fear was a necessity for survival. We would jump to a heightened state of arousal when something dangerous threatened us, and after the danger passed, we would settle back into homeostasis. But for millennia, we’ve been under false stress due to the invention of possessiveness and the idea of dominance.

At some point in history, human beings diverged from simply being to becoming human doings. I blame monotheism for the ideology that “… and man shall have dominion over all things created……” I have learned that people have no dominion over anything except all things created in their minds. That’s the only place where humans can say they own something. Nature owns everything, including humans. When humans become extinct, Mother Earth will rejuvenate and return to homeostasis. Nature is for balance and growth, and if we teach our children how to think, we can reverse the terrible imbalance humans have created.

When I say we must teach our youth how to think, I don’t mean following age-old dogma and ideology. I mean setting them free by teaching them to express what is within them. To think independently. We should introduce the idea that serving others selflessly is crucial to fulfilment. Helping someone else become successful guarantees one’s own success. To have true freedom, we must teach them to co-create the future they desire. To set goals, no matter how ridiculous, outrageous or unobtainable we might think their ideas are.

Now is the time to teach our youth how to think and stop teaching them what to think.  The safe, straight, narrow path handed from generation to generation is a path to doom, destruction, waste, and mundanity.  There has never been any validity to the idea that to make it safely from the cradle to the grave, we must follow the ideology that to earn money, we must trade time for it. It’s a false security we made. It’s caused us to live in stress for thousands of years. It was an ideology created by selfish, greedy people who lusted for gold and power over others. Oh! Did I just describe every religious and political institution in existence? YUP, I DID. Don’t forget the greedy rich who own those institutions and all the money we use.

Look. Returning to a natural state of being and seeking homeostasis within and fulfilment by providing a product or service that would benefit all of humanity is what I want to do. Everyone has a right to be free. Everyone has a right to be fulfilled. Everyone has a right to be materially wealthy. No one has the right to try to control others or force their ideology or dogma on others. No one has the right to infringe on the rights of others. We are all human beings, which is shared amongst eight billion people. Can you imagine having eight billion friends? You’d need a supercomputer to remember their birthdays so you could send them a message. Love is all we need.
